Butter producers are bringing in more cream from spot sales than in previous 
weeks, increasing churn activity. Sales activity for buttermilk powder (BMP) 
was similar to last week. Spot sales were limited with most vendors relying on 
contract sales to move BMP. Contacts expect demand to increase in coming weeks 
with the fall upon us. The price range for BMP dropped slightly at the bottom 
of the range but remained the same at the top. BMP inventories are tight with 
manufacturers keeping very little stock on hand.
