Production schedules for dry buttermilk are slowing this week. Many butter 
manufacturers slowed their production schedules. Contacts report an increased 
demand for condensed buttermilk by Class II manufacturers, leaving little 
buttermilk available for drying. Buttermilk powder demand is also slow this 
week. The BMP price range did not change from last week. There were a few 
reported sales for BMP, all falling within the price range. Inventories are 
currently tight, and some manufacturers report being sold out for the remainder 
of the month
