The lactose price range and mostly series increased from last week. Demand 
remains strong, with contacts noting it is difficult to meet current needs. 
Interest from international markets, particularly in South America as well as 
South and Central Asia, is contributing to firm demand. Contacts report 
continued tightness in supply, with inventories limited and spot availability 
constrained. There are a few distressed loads trading below price ranges.
