In the Central region, milk production is steady but up from last year. 
Contacts report milk component levels are increasing, leaving plenty of cream 
available in the region. Demand for cream is steady to lighter, as processors 
are preparing for Thanksgiving. As of report publication, cream multiples are 
down from last week, 0.90 - 1.24. Butter churns were active early in the week, 
but planned downtime at plants for the holiday is contributing to lighter 
overall production. Contacts report strong demand from retail customers and say 
food service sales are steady. Some stakeholders say current butter prices are 
appealing to potential purchasers and are contributing to increased interest in 
recent weeks. Exports of 82 percent butterfat butter remain strong, and 
contacts say inventories are tighter than 80 percent butterfat butter.
