Contacts report an ample availability of cream in the region. Milk production 
is seasonally low, but components are comparatively higher than they have been 
in recent years. Softening demand of cream for ice cream is leaving plenty of 
cream available for churns. Contacts reported an uptick in cream sales 
designated for churns. Domestic butter interest is increasing this week. Butter 
makers are focusing production on retail size packaging to meet the demand of 
the upcoming holiday. Bulk butter production is holding steady this week. 
International demand remains strong for 82 percent butterfat butter, leaving 
inventory very tight for this product.
