Cream production is strong, and spot volumes remain available. Demand from Class II and Class III processors is strengthening. Some butter makers are purchasing more cream than they were during the holiday weeks at the end of December, but stakeholders say spot purchases are limited as butter makers have sufficient cream within their networks.
