Dry whey prices are unchanged at the top of the range and across the mostly 
price series in the Central region. The only movement with prices this week is 
a 1 cent increase at the bottom of the range. Contacts say domestic dry whey 
demand is unchanged from recent weeks. They note interest is strong for some 
brands with tight inventories, but demand is lighter for others with spot loads 
available. Export demand is strong, though international purchasers are 
primarily sticking to some preferred brands. Dry whey production is steady but 
remains limited as some manufacturers are focused on higher whey protein 
concentrates. The top of the animal feed whey price range increased this week, 
while the bottom is unchanged. Demand remains light, inventories are tight, and 
production is limited.
