Clipper Scraping Across the North Tuesday

It is rather quiet across the U.S. Monday afternoon. It’s also extremely warm in much of the country, at least by January standards. A clipper system moving through the Canadian Prairies will pass through northern areas of the country tonight and Tuesday, helping to spread more of that warmth farther eastward. Some showers will occur across northern areas and a touch of colder air will build in behind the system for the eastern half of the country on Wednesday.
