Showers Shifting to the East Thursday

A system is moving into the Southeast on Wednesday afternoon, with widespread showers circling around Tennessee. The system will move northeast and showers will shift to along and east of the Appalachians for Thursday. Cold air continues to flow into the southern tier of the country, which will result with more widespread frosts to the south-central states. Another system moving through the Canadian Prairies will produce showers there and possibly into parts of the Northern Plains as well.
