Heavy Rain for Southern Plains Friday

A storm system is moving out of the southern Rockies and into the Southern Plains Thursday afternoon and evening. Showers are starting to develop there, but will increase tonight into Friday. Some areas of heavy rain will be possible and even a few severe thunderstorms cannot be ruled out across Texas. Frosts will be more widespread in the Midwest on Friday morning as well.
