Super Warm in the Plains; Bowl of Cold Air in the Northeast This Weekend

A clipper system is moving through the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast with a ball of snow Friday afternoon. A burst of cold air will follow behind it for the weekend for those in the East. Meanwhile, it should be rather quiet in the West and Central U.S. under some fairly warm conditions for early February.
