Clippers Continue for Eastern US Over the Holiday Weekend

Two clipper systems deliver snow, cold air, strong winds to Great Lakes, Midwest and South.

A clipper system has moved into the Great Lakes Friday afternoon. Areas of snow are pinwheeling around the Northern Plains and Midwest because of the system and colder air is spreading through more of the South and Southeast. Some lake-effect will continue with the system as it pushes eastward on Saturday and some snow may be possible along the cold front across the Southeast on Sunday. Another clipper system will move through the north Sunday and Monday, bringing more snow and another punch of cold air. Winds with both systems continue to be elevated and could cause some issues as well.
