Rain Spreading Through South-Central US Thursday
Showers, thunderstorms from the Southern Plains to the Ohio Valley, where heavy rainfall could lead to possible flooding.
A system is moving through the Four Corners region Wednesday afternoon and will get into the Southern Plains overnight into Thursday morning. Some showers have already started to develop this afternoon, but will increase in coverage and intensity tonight and especially on Thursday as they spread up toward the Ohio Valley. Some thunderstorms are likely with these showers and a few could contain a strong wind gust or hail. Heavy rainfall could lead to flooding in some areas from Texas northeast into Missouri and Tennessee.
