Storms Developing Tonight, Continue Eastward Wednesday
Widespread showers, storms from Texas into the Midwest with severe weather possible.
A pair of systems are moving into the middle of the country on Tuesday afternoon. Widespread showers and thunderstorms will erupt from Texas into the Midwest this afternoon and evening, some of which will likely be severe with all modes of severe weather being possible. A particularly moderate risk of strong tornadoes is forecast for northern Illinois and Indiana. The threats shift eastward for Wednesday, with the primary threats still in two pieces with one across the Upper Ohio Valley and the other in the Lower Mississippi Valley and adjacent areas. The risks are not quite as strong as Tuesday, but will still be possible with tornadoes and damaging winds being possible in both areas.
