Heat Continues, But Showers Spreading North Thursday

A heat wave remains intact across the northern U.S. as temperatures soar into the 90s and near or reach over 100 degrees in the Northern Plains. That will continue for Thursday. However, showers that have been frequent across the South and Southeast will spread north into the Midwest as well, which should limit temperatures to some degree across the southern Midwest.
