Warm Air Continues to Spread Tuesday

Extremely warm air in the Plains is pushing out the cold air in the Northeast. Almost the entire country will be above normal for Tuesday, with extremely high temperatures in the South. Some light precipitation moving through the Northern Plains along a cool front on Monday will quickly move through the Great Lakes tonight and Northeast on Tuesday. Additional precipitation will form near Texas up the cool front. Temperatures will fall behind the front, but still be warmer than normal for mid-February.
