Southern Storm Tuesday

Some light snow continues across the eastern Midwest Monday afternoon. But it is a small system moving through the Northern Plains that will quickly shift to the south for Tuesday. Scattered showers will develop for the Lower Mississippi and Tennessee Valleys while some light snow will move across the Ohio Valley. Some marginally cool air will flow in behind the system but the trend continues to be for above-normal temperatures building in the Plains and attempting to spread eastward this week.
