Next Clipper Moving Into Northern Plains, Spreading Through Midwest for Thursday

A clipper system continues to quickly move through the Northeast on Wednesday with scattered showers and snow. Another system moving through the Pacific Northwest is bringing showers into the Canadian Prairies and Montana as well. That system will be the next clipper, which will spread a mix of snow, rain, and freezing rain through the Northern Plains tonight into Thursday morning. The band of precipitation will turn to all snow as it gets into Iowa midday Thursday and continues into the Ohio Valley Thursday night. Moderate accumulations are forecast.
