Cold Air Diving Into East Wednesday
Cold front sweeps south through Midwest Wednesday, bringing colder temperatures and turning rain to snow showers.
A clipper system is moving through the Great Lakes and Ontario on Tuesday afternoon. A trailing line of showers exists across South Dakota and Nebraska as well. The main cold front to the system is still in Canada, but it will be sweeping southward through the Midwest on Wednesday, continuing to the South and East for Wednesday night and Thursday. A burst of colder temperatures will follow behind that front and some showers will form along it. The introduction of cold air will turn some of those showers from rain to snow, especially around the Great Lakes.
