Clipper Moving Into Northern Plains Thursday

It is rather quiet, but cold across most of the U.S. Wednesday afternoon. A storm system is moving through the Pacific Northwest this afternoon and will move over the Rockies and become a clipper as it moves into the Canadian Prairies and Northern Plains tonight into Thursday. A sneaky band of moderate snow is likely to develop across the northern High Plains. The clipper will also bring down some colder air that is currently sitting in southern Canada and will spread it south and east through this coming weekend.
