Storm Continues East Tuesday

A storm system is moving out of the Plains and into the Midwest Monday afternoon. A band of snow has developed around Missouri and will extend northeast going into Tuesday. As the system continues eastward, showers and thunderstorms will be common across the South while some additional wintry precipitation of a mix of freezing rain and snow develops from Arkansas into the Ohio Valley. A stronger cold front will move south into the far north Tuesday night with another round of some very cold air.
