Wheat, Corn Export Inspections Higher Than Last Year; Soybeans Lower
Total corn export inspections are up 46% from last year. Soybean inspections are 32% lower than last year. Wheat inspections are 19% higher than 2024-25.
OMAHA (DTN) — USDA released its weekly Export Inspections report Monday for the week ended Feb. 19, 2026. Total corn inspections were 78.9 million bushels (mb), soybean inspections totaled 24.6 mb, and wheat inspections were 19.7 mb. All inspections were for the 2025-26 marketing year.
Corn inspections totaled 78.9 mb for the week ended Feb. 19. Total inspections for 2025-26 are now at 1.486 bb, up 46% from the previous year. USDA is estimating corn exports to total 3.300 bb in 2025-26, up 15% from the previous year. Corn inspections in 2025-26 are running well ahead of USDA’s estimated pace at a time when USDA’s estimate of corn ending stocks is 46% larger than the previous five-year average.
Soybean inspections totaled 24.6 mb for the week ended Feb. 19. Total inspections for 2025-26 are now at 920 mb, down 32% from the previous year. USDA is estimating soybean exports to total 1.575 bb in 2025-26, down 16% from the previous year. Soybean inspections are running behind USDA’s estimated pace at a time when USDA’s estimate of soybean ending stocks is 20% larger than the previous five-year average.
Wheat inspections totaled 19.7 mb for the week ended Feb. 19. Total inspections for 2025-26 are now at 670 mb, up 19% from the previous year. USDA is estimating wheat exports to total 900 mb in 2025-26, up 9% from the previous year. Wheat inspections are running ahead of USDA’s estimated pace at a time when USDA’s estimate of wheat ending stocks is 28% larger than the previous five-year average.
