A front continues to push through the Eastern Corn Belt on Thursday, bringing some scattered showers and a drop in temperature. Another is moving into the Northern Plains and will sweep through the Central Plains and Upper Midwest with showers and another drop in temperature of its own. Temperatures have broken below 40 degrees in some parts of the northwestern Corn Belt this morning.
