Total corn export inspections are up 29% from last year. Soybean inspections are 11% higher than last year. Wheat inspections for 2025-26 are 15% higher than 2024-25.
Weekly Export Inspections Report
OMAHA (DTN) — USDA released its weekly Export Inspections report Tuesday for the week ended Aug. 28. Total corn inspections were 55.4 million bushels (mb) and soybean inspections totaled 17.4 mb. Wheat inspections for 2025-26 were 29.5 mb for 2025-26.
Corn inspections totaled 55.4 mb for the week ending Aug. 28, 2025. Total inspections for 2024-25 are now at 2.636 billion bushels (bb), up 29% from the previous year. USDA is estimating corn exports to total 2.820 bb in 2024-25, up 25% from the previous year. Corn inspections in 2024-25 are running ahead of USDA’s estimated pace at a time when USDA’s estimate of corn ending stocks is lowest in four years.
Soybean inspections totaled 17.4 mb for the week ending Aug. 28. Total inspections for 2024-25 are now at 1.829 bb, up 11% from the previous year. USDA is estimating soybean exports to total 1.875 bb in 2024-25, up 10% from the previous year. Soybean inspections are running slightly ahead of USDA’s estimated pace at a time when USDA’s estimate of soybean ending stocks is the highest in five years.
Wheat inspections totaled 29.5 mb for the week ending Aug. 28. Total inspections for 2025-26 are now at 244 mb, up 15% from the previous year. USDA is estimating wheat exports to total 875 mb in 2025-26, up 10% from the previous year. Wheat inspections are running slightly ahead of USDA’s estimated pace at a time when USDA’s estimate of wheat ending stocks is the highest in six years.
