Phillips 66 Reports 24-day  Flaring at its Wilmington Refinery

MIAMI, FL (DTN) — Phillips 66 reported  that it has started a 24-day flaring event  at its 139,000 bpd Wilmington, California refinery, beginning at 5:31 p.m. PT, on January 9 and expected to continue through 1:59 p.m. PT on February 1, according to a filing with the South Coast Air Quality Management District.

The company said the flaring was attributed to start-up/shut-down operations; the filing posted on Friday (1/9) stated.
