A few showers and storms may linger in Florida today as the cold front exits, but otherwise generally dry conditions are forecast through the work week.

– Temperatures: Near to 6 degrees below normal across the region, coolest along the Atlantic Coast.

– Remaining dry for most areas with a few afternoon showers and storms possible in Florida and closer to the Mississippi Valley.

– Temperatures: Within 4 degrees of normal across the region.

Temperatures may trend slightly higher in areas that stay sunny all day.

3-5 DAY EXTENDED OUTLOOK:

Wednesday:

– Mostly dry with a few isolated showers possible in the Carolinas and Peninsular Florida.

– Temperatures: 3-8 degrees below normal for most, closer to normal in Florida.

Thursday:

– Dry conditions forecast across the region.

– Temperatures: 2-7 degrees below normal for most, closer to normal in the Mississippi Valley.

Friday:

– Dry conditions forecast for most as high pressure settles across the region.

– Temperatures: Ranging from 3-6 degrees above normal in the Mississippi Valley to 2-6 degrees below normal along the Atlantic Coast.
