Corn Futures Steady at 6:00 a.m. CST Wednesday

Corn: March corn futures finished up 1 1/2 cents in slow trade at $4.38 1/4 Monday.

Soybeans: January soybeans also finished 1 1/2 cents higher to settle at $11.24 3/4 in low volume holiday trade.

Wheat: March Kansas City wheat rose 5 3/4 cents to end the day at $5.28 1/4 on short covering.

Cotton: March cotton rose 0.23 cent to end the day at 64.23, the third straight higher close.

Live Cattle: The bearish trend in live cattle continues with February falling another $0.200 to end the day at $207.32, the sixth consecutive lower finish.
