Corn Futures Lower at 6:00 a.m. CDT Friday

Corn: December corn surged 5 cents to finish at $4.28, supported by the rising wheat and crude oil markets and fund short covering.

Soybeans: November soybeans rose another 10 cents to finish Thursday at $10.44 3/4 on optimism ahead of the U.S.-China meeting and strong basis gains. 

Wheat: December KC wheat futures rocketed 11 1/2 cents higher to end the day at $5.00 on likely short covering.                                                     

Cotton: December cotton rose 0.33 cent to finish at 64.07 but remains in an overall bearish trend.

Live Cattle: December live cattle futures bounced $1.35 higher to finish at $240.32, still above all key moving averages.
