Corn Futures Fractionally Lower at 6:00 a.m. CST Wednesday

Corn: December corn futures rose 2 cents to end Tuesday at $4.36 3/4 in quiet trade, spurred on by good demand and fund short covering.

Soybeans: January soybeans set back 3 3/4 cents on profit taking following Monday’s surge to finish at $11.53 1/2.

Wheat: December Kansas City wheat fell 2 1/2 cents in a correction from Monday’s gain with little news to move the market.

Cotton: December cotton rose 0.21 cent to close Tuesday at 62.57, ending a five-day skid.

Live Cattle: December live cattle futures finished down $1.25 Tuesday to settle at $220.02, still below all key moving averages.
