Cold Temps Push In

The cold front stalling out will continue to bring colder temperatures to the region.

General Overview: RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOP ACROSS THE EASTERN COAST TODAY, WITH A DRIER PATTERN RETURNING ACROSS MUCH OF THE US THROUGHOUT THE WEEK.

EAST: The deep low-pressure will depart northeast into Quebec today. A wintry mix will be seen across parts of New England, with rain showers, and thunderstorms as well, developing along the Atlantic coastal states as the cold front moves offshore. Drier conditions are anticipated to return Monday and into the of the week for most areas. Areas of rain will likely remain possible at times along the Gulf Coast. Further north, a few periods of light snow will become possible for the Great Lakes and Northeast. By Thursday, another area of low-pressure will push across Ontario and into Quebec, with a cold front bringing rain showers across the Great Lakes and into the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic.

-Days 4-6: Below normal across much of the East

-Days 7-10: Trending warmer, near to slightly above normal
