Chevron Announces Reshuffle of Senior Posts

SECAUCUS, NJ (DTN) — Chevron announced on Thursday (2/5) several senior leadership changes, led by the elevation of investor relations director Jake Spiering to the role of president for corporate business development.

Spiering will succeed Frank Mount, who is retiring after 33 years at Chevron, the Houston-based oil major said in a statement.

Molly Laegeler, currently chief strategy officer, will succeed the retiring Patricia Leigh as president of supply and trading effective March 1, with Kevin Lyon taking over the strategy role.

Additionally, Gerbert Schoonman was named the new president of shale and tight operations to succeed Bruce Niemeyer.

Jeanine Wai, meanwhile, rejoins the firm as director of investor relations, filling the spot vacated by Spiering.
