Above Average Today
Above average temperatures will be seen across all areas today, likely continuing through the first half of the weekend.
General Overview: A MORE ACTIVE PATTERN WILL BRING MULTIPLE ROUNDS OF RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS THE CENTRAL US OVER THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS, WITH RAIN AND THUNDERSTORMS PUSHING FURTHER EAST AT TIMES. RAIN AND MOUNTAIN SNOW WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE WESTERN US, ESPECIALLY THE NORTHWEST.

A new frontal boundary will bring rain and thunderstorm chances across the Ohio Valley, Great Lakes, and into the Mid-Atlantic. Another area of low-pressure and accompanying frontal boundary will bring returning rain and thunderstorm chances to the majority of the Eastern US early to mid next week.
