INGREDIENTS:
Makes: 3-4 Servings
Total Time: 45 minutes
1 pound chicken wings and drumettes
1 teaspoon garlic salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
4 tablespoons salted butter, melted
1 teaspoon dried minced garlic
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus more for serving
PREPARATION AND COOKING:
1. Pat wings dry with paper towels; season with salt and pepper.
2. Preheat grill to medium-high heat. Grill wings 30 to 40 minutes, turning frequently until golden and crispy on all sides. (Or, speed up the cooking process by baking wings at 350°F for 20 minutes and finishing them on a hot grill for another 5 to 10 minutes.) Wings should reach an internal temperature of at least 175°F.
3. In a large bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic and Parmesan cheese.
4. Transfer wings directly from grill into garlic butter, tossing to coat; top with Parmesan cheese, if desired.
